An overnight cruise keeps you on the fiord when the day cruises turn for home. You make the same
journey in as a day visitor: across Lake Manapouri to West Arm, then over Wilmot Pass to Deep
Cove. Then, instead of turning back after two or three hours, you stay out for about 20.
The afternoon is a cruise with a nature guide. After dinner the boat anchors for the night,
and after breakfast there is a morning on the water before you head back over the pass and
the lake. You can board at the jetty in Manapouri, or join the night as part of a 3-day trip
